422 Private Balcony Swimming Pools for a Residential Tower in JVT

MAT Plastic Industries is entrusted with the supply, installation, waterproofing, testing, commissioning, handover, and maintenance of 422 private balcony swimming pools at Volga Tower in Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Constructed by Tiger International General Contracting LLC, the project consists of a residential tower with four parking levels and 40 floors of furnished apartments. The complex comprises 390 residential units ranging from one- to four-bedroom layouts, along with two commercial retail units.

The residential concept incorporates private balcony swimming pools within the apartment layouts and is complemented by shared amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, gymnasium, jogging track, children’s play areas, and barbecue zones. The location offers connectivity to key destinations including JBR, Palm Jumeirah, Mall of the Emirates, Global Village, and Dubai Mall.

Acrylic Panels, Steel Structures and Pool Installation Scope

A total of 22 pool configurations were developed to align with the structural and architectural requirements of the tower.

MAT Plastic Industries is responsible for the supply, installation, waterproofing, testing, commissioning, handover, and maintenance of balcony swimming pools incorporating acrylic viewing panels, GRP structures, steel support systems, filtration systems, MEP works, and tile finishes.

Integration of the pool systems into the tower requires coordination between structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure proper installation and long-term operational performance.

Large-Scale Pool Construction and Maintenance Services

In addition, MAT Plastic Industries provides a complete package covering pool construction, commissioning, handover, and maintenance services, following its experience in developing engineering and water treatment technologies.

The combination of acrylic panels, steel structures, GRP pools, filtration systems, waterproofing, and tile finishes enables the installation of private swimming pools across multiple apartment layouts within the tower.

Currently under construction, Volga Tower represents one of the largest residential balcony pool projects in MAT Plastic Industries’ portfolio in Dubai.
