102 Private Balcony Plunge Pools for a Residential Development
MAT Plastic Industries is executing the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning scope for 102 private balcony plunge pools at the SAMANA Miami 2 residential project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The project is located in Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT) and developed by Samana Developers, consisting of a mid-rise residential building. The development incorporates private balcony plunge pools as part of the residential design, as well as individual outdoor spaces for residents.
Balcony Pool Systems and Installation Scope
MAT Plastic Industries will deliver six pool configurations designed to meet the structural and operational requirements of the development.
The scope includes the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of balcony plunge pools featuring acrylic viewing panels, GRP pool structures, filtration systems, waterproofing works, MEP systems, and mosaic tile finishes. Coordination between structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines is required to integrate the pools into the building while ensuring long-term operation and maintenance.
Acrylic Panels and Composite Pool Structures
Drawing on its experience in composite engineering and water treatment technologies, MAT Plastic Industries is providing a turnkey solution for the project. The use of acrylic viewing panels, GRP structures, and integrated filtration systems allows the pools to be incorporated into the building design while meeting operational requirements.
Currently under construction, SAMANA Miami 2 will maximize MAT Plastic Industries’ portfolio of residential pool projects in Dubai.
