158 Balcony Pools for a Twin-Tower Residential Development
MAT Plastic Industries is executing the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and maintenance scope for 158 balcony pools at the DANUBE Elitz 1 development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The project form is developed as part of the Elitz by Danube mixed-use residential complex located in Jumeirah Village Circle, opposite Circle Mall, and developed by Danube Properties Development LLC. The plan consists of two residential towers comprising a total of 550 units, including studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments.
Tower One includes a basement level, ground floor, four parking floors, and 36 residential floors, while Tower Two comprises a basement level, ground floor, four parking floors, and 39 residential floors. The development also incorporates indoor pools, outdoor infinity pools, basketball courts, and children’s recreational areas.
Balcony Pool Engineering and Construction Works
To meet the project requirements, two balcony pool systems were developed based on the architectural and structural design of the development.
The scope included engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and DLP maintenance of balcony pools incorporating GRP structures, acrylic viewing panels, MEP systems, and tile finishes. Multidisciplinary coordination supported seamless integration into the building and long-term operational performance.
The project applies composite pool construction techniques suited for residential high-rise developments.
