113 Private Balcony Plunge Pools for a High-Rise Residential Building
MAT Plastic Industries is responsible for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 113 private balcony plunge pools for the SAMANA Waves 1 residential development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Developed by Samana Developers, the project is located in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) and consists of a residential tower with a ground floor, three parking levels, and 23 upper floors. The development features private balcony plunge pools integrated into the design of the residential units.
Acrylic Balcony Pools and Installation Scope
The scope is carrying out the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of balcony plunge pools featuring acrylic viewing panels manufactured with Plexiglas®, GRP pool structures, filtration systems, pumps and circulation equipment, waterproofing works, mosaic tile finishes, and electrical and water supply connections.
Additionally, MAT Plastic Industries is responsible for seven pool configurations developed to meet the structural and architectural requirements of the project.
Coordination between structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines ensures proper integration of the pools within the building structure and supports long-term operation and maintenance.
Filtration Systems and Composite Pool Construction
Drawing on its experience in composite engineering and water treatment technologies, MAT Plastic Industries provides a complete turnkey package for the project. The project combines acrylic panels, GRP structures, filtration systems, and circulation equipment, enabling the integration of private balcony pools into the residential tower while meeting technical and operational requirements.
SAMANA Waves 1 is now part of MAT Plastic Industries’ portfolio of residential pool projects in Dubai. And the project will soon be completed.
