431 Private Plunge Pools for a Residential Complex in Arjan
MAT Plastic Industries is carrying out the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 431 private residential plunge pools at the SAMANA Skyros development in Arjan, Al Barsha South Third, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Developed by Samana Developers and inspired by the Greek island of Skyros, the project includes 441 residential units distributed across three basement levels, a ground floor, and 17 additional floors, with a total built-up area of approximately 567,433 sq ft. Private plunge pools are integrated into the residential units, while the development also offers leisure pool decks, a health club, indoor and outdoor gyms, sauna and steam rooms, children’s play areas, a rooftop basketball court, rooftop lounge, rooftop cinema, valet parking, and retail spaces.
Private Pool Systems and Construction Scope
MAT Plastic Industries will provide three plunge pool configurations tailored to the project’s architectural and operational requirements. The scope covers the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the pools, including DonChamp acrylic viewing panels, GRP structures, filtration and circulation systems, waterproofing, mosaic tile finishes, electrical and water connections, and commissioning support.
Coordination across the structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines ensures seamless integration into the building and supports efficient long-term operation and maintenance.
DonChamp Acrylic Panels and GRP Pool Structures
Through its experience in composite engineering and water treatment technologies, MAT Plastic Industries provides a turnkey package for the project. The use of DonChamp acrylic panels, GRP structures, filtration systems, and circulation equipment enables the integration of private plunge pools within the residential complex while meeting technical and operational requirements.
