MAT Plastic Industries is designing, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning 260 private balcony plunge pools for the SAMANA Mykonos Signature development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Developed by Samana International Real Estate Development, the project is located in Arjan, Al Barsha South Third, and spans approximately 39,014 square meters. The development consists of an eight-story residential building comprising 276 units, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments with private pools integrated into selected residences.
Additionally, the project also incorporates a range of residential amenities, including retail outlets, restaurants, a gym, swimming pools, sports facilities, landscaped areas, children’s play areas, barbecue areas, parking facilities, and community spaces.
Acrylic Viewing Panels and Pool Construction Scope
MAT Plastic Industries carries out the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of balcony plunge pools featuring acrylic viewing panels manufactured with DonChamp technology, GRP pool structures, filtration systems, pumps and circulation equipment, waterproofing systems, mosaic tile finishes, and electrical and water supply connections.
Furthermore, MAT Plastic Industries is responsible for five pool configurations designed to meet the project’s architectural and structural requirements. Coordination between structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines supports the integration of the pools within the building structure and contributes to long-term operation and maintenance.
Composite Structures and Water Treatment Systems
Drawing on its experience in composite engineering and water treatment technologies, MAT Plastic Industries provides a turnkey package for the project. The combination of acrylic panels, GRP structures, filtration systems, circulation equipment, and waterproofing systems enables the integration of private balcony pools into the residential development while meeting technical and operational requirements.
