FRP Pool
The FRP Pool construction starts with a structural steel framework, sized based on engineering static analysis conducted by our design department. The steel structure significantly enhances the integrity of the pool, ensuring long-lasting performance and durability. This reinforcement provides increased structural strength, making the Plunge Pools highly resistant to environmental and operational stress factors. All engineering studies include hydrostatic and thermal expansion simulations, guaranteeing optimal performance under varying conditions. Our engineering team carefully considers all live loads to design the most efficient and robust solution for the steel structure, ensuring safety and reliability throughout its lifespan.
After steel fabrication, FRP is applied to the interior and exterior surfaces. Plunge Pools typically include a built-in seating bench, where all electromechanical filtration systems are housed, eliminating the need for an additional mechanical room. Depending on project requirements, FRP thickness is generally applied as 8mm or 10mm for surfaces and flooring, ensuring water resistance and structural durability. This entire process is executed in our factory in Jebel Ali, Dubai, by our in-house team.
Acrylic Viewing Window
The Acrylic Viewing Window enhances the aesthetics of swimming pools, creating dynamic visual effects on building facades. It transforms Plunge Pool walls into transparent structures, offering an open and modern appearance. Acrylic panels, also known as PMMA, are produced by polymerizing MMA raw materials and are a long-lasting alternative to glass. Unlike glass, acrylic is highly durable and shatter-resistant, making it a safer option for swimming pool applications. They offer 92% light transmission, ensuring clarity while being impact-resistant and safer than traditional glass.
Additionally, Acrylic Viewing Windows are highly durable against pool chemicals, UV exposure, and ozone, ensuring long-term stability without degradation. Our engineering team handles the design calculations and installation of acrylic viewing windows. We have a dedicated team specializing in acrylic fabrication and installation, ensuring precision and quality. We collaborate with multiple suppliers to secure the best lead time solutions, guaranteeing efficiency and timely project delivery. We provide warranties of 30 years for UV resistance, 10 years for structural integrity, and 5 years for waterproofing.
Filtration System
A proper filtration system requires a mechanical filter, a filtration pump, and a chemical disinfection system.
Filtration pumps must be selected according to optimal turnover rates to ensure efficient water circulation. The velocity in sand filters should exceed 30 m³/m².h to maintain effective filtration and water clarity. The filtration system is the key element ensuring the cleanliness and clarity of swimming pools. At MAT Plastic Industries LLC, our experienced engineering team designs filtration systems tailored to Dubai’s climate conditions, preventing bacteria, algae, and other issues.
Our filtration design is maintenance-friendly, allowing all equipment to be pulled out from the sitting bench using a tray for easy access. We develop filtration solutions that require minimal maintenance, ensuring long-term operational efficiency and ease of use. We carefully select all necessary pool equipment, including pool lighting, filtration pumps, sand filters, and disinfection systems, to ensure premium water quality. All filtration system applications are carried out by our in-house team.
Plunge Pool Surface Finishing
We offer a wide range of interior pool finishes designed with architectural precision, incorporating materials such as mosaic, tiles, and marble to create aesthetically appealing and durable surfaces. The top surface of the pools can be finished with coping or other high-end finishing elements, enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of the design.
All design stages are executed in accordance with project specifications, ensuring a seamless integration with the overall architectural vision. We use epoxy-based finishing compounds to enhance durability and resistance to water and chemicals. Our finishing options come in various colors, dimensions, and forms, allowing customization to match specific project needs.
